Mrs. Peter Administrator

I was born in Evansville, IN many years ago.  I was married on July 4th at a very early age to my wonderful husband of 46 years, Bernard.  I have lived in Carbondale, IL (SIU); Ft. Campbell, KY (101st Airborne),  Landstuhl, W. Germany (2nd General Hospital), and Indianapolis.  While living in Germany, I was young enough and fortunate enough to travel all around Europe, which is one of my most wonderful learning experiences.  Those travelling journey’s gave me much depth of knowledge of the world, and  I cherish those memories yet today.  I graduated from Brescia University.  My BS degree is in Special Education P-12, and my minor is in Elementary ED K-4.  I’ve taught in Warrick County Schools  teaching children that were emotionally handicapped.  Also, I’ve taught in Daviess County Public Schools teaching Art with a Discovery Team of Teachers.  I have owned and directed CCA with Denise Lynch for 10 years, and have taught CCA preschool classes. I now work in the administrative part of education.  Over my teaching years, I’ve heard many fun children stories, and  I still enjoy teaching our children and interacting with the families we serve.  Reading stories with our children and helping them with problem solving and applying their knowledge are still very fulfilling to me, as an educator.

Last, but not least for sure are my two fantastic daughters.  Heather lives in Denver, Co with my son-in-law and two grandsons.  Lindsey is in college as a pre-med major.  She still keeps my science mind going.  My hobbies, when I have time, are spending  quiet time with my husband, and traveling anywhere and everywhere.   Also, visiting  my extended family, reading, cooking, and gardening.

I love being part of children’s growth and development here at CCA.  Our staff of teacher’s work very hard to inspire thinking and learning.
